Tampereen käsityömessut

Aivan mahtavaa lasitaidetta, luulimme ensin niitä ilmapalloiksi :).
Kiltalaiset viettivät tosi mukavan lauantai päivän käsityömessuilla. Kotiin viemisiäkin löytyi kassikaupalla....nyt odottelemme jännityksellä mitä niistä valmistuu.

Seuraavana vuorossa Suomen Kädentaidot-messut Tampereella.
Sitten tapaamisen aiheena punainen...ja työssä pitää käyttää kuva-arvoituksen tuotetta...

Syksy / Halloween

Maanantai-illan hämärtyessä kokoonnuimme tapaamiseen. Vetäjä oli leiponut ihania mokkapaloja, koristellut pöydän kurpitsalyhdyllä- ja liinoilla.

Here’s a list of free jelly roll patterns.

• Renaissance Waves from Moda – This is a GORGEOUS quilt!
• Aunt Polly’s Porch from Moda
• French General Jelly Roll Quilt Pattern.

• Cowboy Up – This is a great western themed jelly roll quilt pattern from Moda! Of course you can use any theme of fabric.
• 30′s Barn Raising – A nice old fashioned looking quilt pattern using one jelly roll and 1.5 years of background fabric.
• Another beautiful quilt pattern from Moda, which uses one Jelly Roll plus background fabric, and an additional fabric for sashing, border, and binding. This one is called Eydie A’s Jelly Quilt.
• Uncle Sam’s Quilt measures 60″ x 45″. This is a beautiful Americana themed quilt.

Syyskuun tapaaminen

Tutustuimme Jelly Roll kangasrullien käyttöön. Osa meistä niitä oli ostanutkin Vaasan Tilkkupäiviltä ja osa odottaa innolla käsityömessuja, että pääsee ostamaan oman rullansa :)
Kangasrullissa on 25 kangassuikaletta, joiden koko on 6 cm x 108 cm. Tässä eräs pikatekniikka, jolla tekee nopeasti esim peiton. Ei muuta kun hurjastelemaan ompelukoneella. Nasta lautaan :)!

Tilkkuterveisiä Norjasta

Yksi Tilkkunalle kävi tutustumassa aivan ihanaan tilkkukauppaan Tonsbergissa Norjassa. Tilkkukaupan nimi on Quiltefryd. Kaupassa järjestetään paljon myös kursseja.Kurssin vetäjiä on ollut Australiasta asti. Ja tulihan sieltä ostettua lehtiä, kirjoja ja kankaita...vaikka niitä on kotonakin hyllykaupalla :)
